I started throwing discs in 1991 (PDGA #5935), but my approach to disc dyeing goes deeper than eye-catching colors. With a Ph.D. in Chemistry from the University of Arkansas, I treat the dyeing process as a blend of art and science.
Disc dyeing is so much more than simply putting color on plastic—it’s an art form powered by molecular science.
I approach every disc as a dynamic, circular canvas. By pairing fluid art, intricate stenciling, and bold color palettes with a scientific understanding and a scientific curiosity and willingness to experiment I can push creative boundaries. From organic, blooming cell patterns and cosmic marble swirls to razor-sharp graphic lines, each design is an original piece of visual expression brought to life through precise, gentle curing.
